PENGARUH BIAYA PROMOSI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN PADA SULTHAN HOTEL INTERNASIONAL BANDA ACEH

Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

This research entitled: "The Influence of Promotion Costs On Increased Revenue At Sulthan Hotel International Banda Aceh". The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of promotional costs, revenue growth, and the influence of promotion costs to increase revenue Sulthan Hotel International Banda Aceh. The research method used is descriptive with quantitative approach. While the technique of data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis technique used is simple regression.

The results show that, promotional activities undertaken by Sulthan Hotel International are advertisers, through newspapers, television, radio, social media, direct sales, and sales promotion. The amount of income earned continues to increase each year, as evidenced by the data obtained from Sulthan Hotel International Banda Aceh. By using simple linear regression formula obtained correlation value r = 0,989 which means 98,9% income have relation with promotion cost, whereas coefficient of determination value r2 = 0,980 or 98% means that 98% of business income of Sulthan Hotel International Banda Aceh influenced by promotion done, only 2% are influenced by other variables. This shows that the promotional activities undertaken by the company have a very strong influence on the income of Sulthan Hotel International Banda Aceh.
